Type locality: grounds of Estancia El Refugio (14 45'S, 61 00'W), El Refugo Biological Reserve, Provincia Velasco, Dept. Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Lat -14.7500, Long -61.0000

TypesHolotype: UTA R-38052 (field tag M. B. Harvey 2055), an adult male collected by Barbara Phillips on 14 September 1993. Paratypes (7).-UTA R-38051, 38053- 56, NK R-1086-87, collected at the same locality as the holotype by M. B. Harvey and B. Phillips in 1993-1994 and G. Scrocchi and L. Gonzales in 1995.
