Distribution: may have been introduced to Florida, but may not be established there (Schwartz & Henderson, 1988, 1991).

EtymologyNamed after Latin “pusillus, -a, -um” = small, tiny. Other sources translate pusillus as “shy” (e.g. Thomas & Powell 1994).
