EtymologyNamed after Albert Schwartz (1923-1992), a biologist and entomologist. He was Professor Emeritus of Biology, Miami-Dade Community College, and was associated with the Florida Museum of Natural History, the National Museum of Natural History, and Museo Nacional de Historia Natural, Santo Domingo.
