Type locality: Zanzibar (probably in error); restricted to Candala, NE Somalia.

Diagnosis 
CommentDistribution: not in East Africa (i.e. Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi fide S. Spawls, pers. comm., 28 June 2018). Not known with certainty from localities outside of Somalia (WILMS 2007).
