Comment	Abundance: only known from the type locality (Meiri et al. 2017).
Etymology	Named after Dr. Theodore Sherman Palmer (1868-1958), a botanist. He worked for the U.S. Biological Survey as Assistant Chief for 15 years (1889-1933) and was also the Law Enforcement Officer of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (1900-1916).
