Müller (1928) restricted to “cabañas, prov. coruña, Spanien” [cabanas near ferrol, coruna prov., according to Golay et al. (1993)].

TypesSyntypes: BMNH 1946.1.21.44-45 (and possibly additional specimens).
Holotype: ARAN no 456-464 (Sociedad de Ciencias Aranzadi, Donostia - San Sebastián, Spain), 8 paratypes: as holotype; 2 paratypes in the Museum d’Histoire Naturelle, Geneva (MHNG 9581 and 9599), and 2 more paratypes in UNIOVI (Zoology and Ecology Department of University of Oviedo), no 75191001 and 79290601), 1 paratype in MNCN 39119 [cantabrica]
