CommentSimilar species: A. lepidogaster

Abundance: only known from the type specimen (Meiri et al. 2017).

Distribution: for a map of localities see Liu et al. 2023: 128 (Fig. 1). 
Etymologyfrom Greek “brachy” = short and “pous, podos” = foot, in reference to the short limbs of the species.
