Comment	Type species: Alluaudina bellyi MOCQUARD 1894 is the type species of the genus Alluaudina MOCQUARD 1894. Habitat: partly arboreal (Harrington et al. 2018).
Etymology	Named after Mr. Belly who collected the snake with Charles Alluaud. Mocquard gives no further details about Belly though. The genus was named after Charles Alluaud, one of the collectors of the type.
