| Diagnosis | Diagnosis: A large (adult male SVL = 94–115 mm, adult female SVL = 119–130.5 mm) species of Cyrtodactylus having small subcaudals not arrayed in a single transverse row; throat without scattered enlarged tubercles; single continuous row of 72–96 enlarged precloacal/femoral scales (mean = 80) arrayed in a shallow chevron, containing 72–96 precloacal/femoral pores in males (mean = 84); enlarged series of precloacal-femoral scales ~twice size of scales immediately posterior to that series (Fig. 1B); 29–41 flat tubercles on lateral skin fold (mean = 34.3); smaller, flat tubercles on top of thighs typically 3 times size of surrounding granules; 39–45 midbelly scale rows (mean = 42.0); 23–27 T4 lamellae (mean = 24.9); postmental width/postmental length 0.44–0.61 (mean = 0.54); postmental suture/postmental length 0.47–0.67 (mean = 0.61); dorsal ground color brown or gray brown; nuchal collar entire or only incompletely divided vertebrally; 3–4 darker-brown bands or paired blotches between nuchal collar and tail base that are narrower than the intervening ground color, distinct, and with those posterior to scapular region extending laterally from mid-dorsum; and nuchal collar uniformly dark throughout length.
