KIZ 011069, 011070, 012711, 09363, juveniles; all share the same collecting information as the holotype; CIB 3251, adult male, collected by Er-Mi Zhao and Xue-En Wu from Beibeng, Motuo County, Linzhi Prefecture, Xizang Autonomous Region, China (elevation 800m) during 1973; CIB 3252, adult female, collected by Er-Mi Zhao and Xue-En Wu from locality between Beibeng and Bujiang Mountain in Motuo County, Linzhi Prefecture, Xizang Autonomous Region, China (elevation 1100m) on 22 July 1976; CIB 84771, adult male, collected by Sheng-Quan Li from Beibeng, Motuo County, Linzhi Prefecture, Xizang Autonomous Region, China (elevation 1100m) on 27 July 1983; CIB 107843 and 107844, juveniles collected by Feng Xie and Sheng-Chao Shi from the locality between Ya-Rang and Xi-Gong-Qiao in Motuo County, Linzhi Prefecture, Xizang Autonomous Region, China (elevation 896m) on 30 May 2017. 
DiagnosisDiagnosis: Dopasia motuoensis sp. nov. can be diagnosed from all other species of Dopasia by a combination of the following morphological characteristics: (1) body slender and long, size moderate, adult SVL 128.7– 177.6mm; (2) tail slender, long, TAL 193.5% SVL adult, 223.5–243.9% SVL in juveniles; (3) nasal separated from frontonasal by three scales; (4) prefrontals mostly in contact; (5) external ear openings distinct, similar or larger than nostrils; (6) dorsal scales along lateral fold 88–99; (7) transverse cyan streaks without black edging on anterior side present in adult males, adult females without black dorsolateral stripes that extend beyond one third of its body length from cloaca; (8) laterally arranged cyan streaks or spots absent in adult males; (9) laterally arranged small black dots present on lateral head in juveniles, and thin, black dorsolateral stripes present on only posterior body in juveniles; (10) black ventrolateral stripes present on ventral tail in both adults and juveniles; and (11) PPV 50 or 51.
