| Diagnosis | Diagnosis: Dopasia nanlingmontis sp. nov. can be diagnosed from all congeners by a combination of the following morphological characters: (1) body size large, adult SVL 171.2–200.4mm; (2) tail long, TAL 205.2– 246.0% SVL; (3) nasal separated from frontonasal by two scale rows; (4) prefrontals variable in contact statuses; (5) ear openings distinct; (6) dorsal scales along lateral fold 93–97; (7) PPV 51–53; (8) cyan transverse streaks in adult males distinctively widen on two lateral sides, forming a near triangular patch on each side, symmetric to vertebral axis; and (9) females uniformly reddish brown or with short streaks made of a few cyan spots.
