| Diagnosis | Diagnosis: Dopasia rubriterrae sp. nov. can be diagnosed from all other species of Dopasia by a combination of the following morphological characteristics: (1) body slender and long, size moderate, adult SVL 120.1–195.5mm; (2) tail slender, long, TAL 231.7–274.9% SVL; (3) prefrontals mostly not in contact; (4) nasal separated from frontonasal by two rows of postinternasals and single supranasal; (5) external ear openings large, similar or larger than nostrils; (6) dorsal scales along lateral fold 87–98; (7) transverse cyan streaks present on dorsum in adults, each with distinct black edging anteriorly; (8) laterally arranged cyan streaks or spots absent in adults; (9) thin, black dorsolateral stripes present and extending anteriorly to nasal in juveniles, but absent or only faint on posterior body and tail in adults; (10) black ventrolateral stripes absent on ventral tail and body; and (11) PPV 50 or 51.
