Reproduction	ovoviviparous
Types	Holotype: USNM 67516; Paratypes: BMNH, CAS, LSUM, USNM, UMMZ
Diagnosis	Diagnosis: Combination of 116–125 ventral scales; two pairs of chin shields, second pair longest or equal to first pair; lateral spots rows 4–5 or 4–6; stripe on scale row three. Dorsal scales lack striations found in E. enhydris and E. subtaeniata (MURPHY & VORIS 2014).
