DiagnosisDiagnosis: “Especie de pequeño tamaño, con coloración oscura y escamas dorsales quilladas, no imbricadas, en series paralelas longitudinales; antropófila. Reconocible de H. underwoodi, H. whitii y H. darwini macrocephala por su lepidosis dorsal y coloración; de H. horrida por su menor tamaño, forma de las escamas quilladas y coloración.” (Cei 1993)
