Distribution	W Iran (Zagros mountains, Esfahan Province) Type locality: 32º58'N, 50º40'E, 3 km NW Fereydin Shahr, about 140 km NW Esfahan, Zagros Mountains, Esfahan Province, Iran, 2450 m elevation.
Reproduction	oviparous
Types	Holotype: GNM 5149 (given as GNHM, Göteborg), adult
Diagnosis	Diagnosis: Lacerta zagrosica differs from other Zagros small Lacertas by having a single postnasal plate (two postnasals in other taxa). It also differs by having ten ventral plate rows (eight normal in the other species) [NILSON et al. 2003]
Comment	Distribution: See map in SMID et al. 2014 for distribution in Iran.
