| Diagnosis | DIAGNOSIS (DIAGNOSTIC CHARACTERS). The species differs from all other Lepidophyma in having 35 or more fourth toe lamellae. It differs from all except L. smithii, L. flavimaculatum, L. micropholis, and L. sylvaticum in having 53 or more gulars; from L. gaigeae, L. dontomasi, L. lowei, L. radula, L. tarascae, and L. pajapanense in having 177 or more dorsals; and from L. reticulatum, L. micropholis, and L. occulor in having 192 or fewer dorsals (from BEZY & CAMARILLO 2002). |
