Comment	Synonymy: Maryan suspected that Lerista praefrontalis is an aberrant specimen of L. griffini, suggesting that the former is a synonym of L. griffini. Distribution: for a map of localities see Zimny et al. 2025: 527 (Fig. 1).
Etymology	Named after Philip Griffin (b. 1964), an English-born herpetologist, photographer, and professional musician who grew up in Western Australia and lives in Adelaide. He was also involved in the collection of Paraplocephalus atriceps and Anilios howi.
