Comment 
EtymologyNamed after Dr. Roberto Donoso-Barros (1922-1975), a Chilean physician (1947) and herpetologist. He became Professor of Biology at Universidad de Chile (1954) and at Universidad de Concepción (1965). He was killed in a car crash.
