CommentSubspecies: Parker 1936 described Nucras intertexta damarana (see Fitzsimons 1943: 3220. The status of this subspecies is not clear. It may be synonymous with N. intertexta. 
EtymologyNamed after Latin intertexta, interwoven. ["...sides chequered, black and white..."].
