CommentPhylogenetics: Phyllodactylus gerrhopygus and P. angustidigitus are paraphyletic with respect to other Phyllodactylus as well as Garthia and Homonota, but Sullivan et al. 2026 did not resolve this problem. 
EtymologyNamed after Latin “angustus, -a, -um” = narrow and “digitus” = finger.
