Type locality: Ampamakiesiny Pass 14 km NW of Ranomafana-Sud, Tolanaro (Fort Dauphin) Fivondronana, Toliara (Tuléar) Province, Madagascar, 24° 32’ S, 47° 51’ E, 800 m elevation.

DiagnosisDiagnosis: A Pseudoxyrhopus with 21 rows of dorsal scales at midbody, 8 supralabials, bluntly rounded snout, subcaudals divided, white line on supralabials and rostral, and dark brown dorsal coloration on body.
