CommentDistribution: Has been erroneously (?) reported from India. Reports from Socotra actually refer to Haemodracon riebecki.

Subspecies: Ptyodactylus homolepis socotranus STEINDACHNER 1902 is a synonym of Haemodracon riebeckii.

Abundance: only known from the type locality (Meiri et al. 2017). 
EtymologyApparently named after Greek homos (ὁμῶς), equally, likewise, alike + Greek lepis (λεπίς), scale.
