Type locality: "Île de Tidore, Nouvelle-Guinee" [= Tidore Is., Maluku, Indonesia, 00041'N, 127°24'E].  
Reproductionoviparous (manual imputation, fide Zimin et al. 2022) 
TypesSyntypes: MNHN-RA 1878.0214-0215; Collected by: M.J.A. Raffray & M. Maindron. Collection Date: December 1876 (purchased from MM Raffray and Maindron, May 1878). Other Syntype: (n=1), MNHN 1878.215, a 175 mm specimen; same info as the other syntype.
