CommentStatus unclear fide ORTIZ and NÚÑEZ 1986. BOULENGER (1885) considered Proctotretus modestus PHILIPPI 1860 as a synonym of Liolaemus chiliensis (LESSON 1830). MÜLLER and HELLMICH (1933) considered it as a synonym of Liolaemus altissimus.
