Distribution	Angola Terra typica: Caeonda, Benguella, Angola.
Reproduction	apparently both oviparous and viviparous reproduction (Shine 1985)
Types	Holotype: BMNH 1946.8.3.33 (formerly 1906.8.24.62), Caconda, Benguella, collected Dr. W.J. Ansorge.
Diagnosis	Diagnosis: Ceriaco et al. 2024
Comment	Phylogenetics: Mito-nuclear discordance was observed by Butler et al. 2024 with respect to the geographic boundary between T. ansorgii and T. sulcata. However, both species are supported by molecular data.
Etymology	Named after the collector of the type, Dr. W.J. Ansorge.
