Diagnosis	Diagnosis (original): Eine Rasse von Agama agama, die sich durch eine etwas erhohte Zahl der Schuppen um die Rumpfmitte (63 — 78) und durch Färbungsmerkmale, vor allem durch den Besitz eines rostbraunen welligen Lateralbandes bei den erwachsenen Weibchen auszeichnet.
Comment	Subspecies: The rank of the two subspecies boensis and mucosoensis is questionable (WAGNER et al. 2009). However, WAGNER et al. 2012 elevated mucosoensis to full species status. Distribution: see map in Marques et al. 2018: 290 (Angola)
Etymology	named after the type locality.
