Etymology | Named after Dr. Burgess Barnett (1888-1944), Curator of Reptiles, London Zoo (1932-1937). He also worked at the Rangoon Zoological Gardens, Burma (Myanmar) (1938) until his death in Bengal. He also collected the types of this species in Peru. |
