Diagnosis | Diagnosis: A Paragehyra with weakly developed dorsal tubercles, not arranged into distinct longitudinal rows on body; no tubercles on dorsal surfaces of limbs; tail smooth, without transverse rings of enlarged tubercles on whorls; ventral scales of distal (tibial) segment of hindlimb not enlarged; preaxial-ventral scales of pes (metatarsal segment) relatively small and numerous, 8-12 scales along preaxial-ventral border of pes; infralabials diminish gradually in size posteriorly; small chin scales extend anteriorly on each side to contact postmentals, posteroventral corner of first infralabial, and entire second infralabial; claw-bearing segment of digits II-V of manus and pes with 10-14 subdigital scales; 8-10 small subdigital scales between enlarged basal scales and terminal pad of digit on manus and pes.
