Type locality: Adho Dimellus, Socotra (elevation: 3500-4500 feet).

Diagnosis 
CommentAbundance: only known from the type locality (Meiri et al. 2017). 
EtymologyNamed after William Robert Ogilvie-Grant (1863-1924), British ornithologist and Curator of Birds, Natural History Museum, London (1909-1918), where he had worked since 1882.
