Comment 
EtymologyNamed after V.K. Eremchenko, Russian herpetologist who is sometimes cited as YERIOMCHENKO, JEREMCENKO, or JERJOMTSCHENKO. We use the spelling “EREMCHENKO” to consolidate these spelling variants when the author himself is quoted.
