Type locality: Santa Rosa, Comitán, Chiapas.  
TypesSyntypes: CNAR (= UNAM, Instituto de Biología, México) 
CommentAbundance: only known from its original description (Meiri et al. 2017). This is one of the species called 'lost' and 'rediscovered' by Lindken et al. 2024. 
EtymologyNamed after Martin del Campo’s “maestro”, Don Issac Ochoterena.
