Type locality: Jiahe Township, Jiangcheng County, Puer City, Yunnan Province, China (22°46’19’’ N 101°53’24’’ E; 1020 m a.s.l.)

TypesHolotype. KIZ L0133, adult male, collected on 26 July 2020 by Shuo Liu. Paratype. KIZ L0213, adult female, the same collec- tion information as the holotype. 
DiagnosisDiagnosis: Habitus slender, body size medium (SVL 69.5 – 88.6 mm), tail relatively long in females (TLGSVL 1.62 – 1.72) and very long in males (TLGSVL 2.02 – 2.04); postorbital and occipital spines present; gular pouch relatively undeveloped; nuchal crest composed of 6 – 7 spines; diastema between nuchal and dorsal crests present; dorsal crest underdeveloped; number of subdigital lamellae on fourth finger 17 – 19 and on fourth toe 22 – 25; black nuchal collar present; black eye patch distinct in males but indistinct in females; black oblique folds anterior to forelimb insertions present and not extending upward to meet black nuchal collar; dorsum color green with more or less black or brown stripes and more or less white spots, color of dorsal limbs greenish, color of dorsal head black, brown, or greenish in males; no or a little red coloration on lips in males; gular region, chest, and belly white and never red in males; the dorsum color brown or brownish gray in females. Comment 
EtymologyThe specific epithet “longicaudata” means “Long tail” in Latin, and is given in reference to the relatively longer tail of this species.
