| Diagnosis | Diagnosis. The suture between rostral and internasal much wider than the suture between rostral and anterior nasal; loreal large, one and a half times as long as deep, entering the eye and in contact with prefrontal, supraocular and posterior nasal; temporals 2+2, upper anterior broadly in contact with the eye, lower anterior entering the eye by its corner; supralabials 6; 3 lower labials in contact with anterior chin-shields; 3 pairs of chin-shields; scales in 25 rows, almost smooth, being keeled very feebly posteriorly; the mid-dorsal scale row a little larger than the others; ventrals 181 to 184; subcaudals 51 to 52; anal entire.
