CommentSubspecies: Afroedura transvaalica loveridgei BROADLEY 1963 has been elevated to full species status.

Group: The A. bogerti group consists of 7 species fide Conradie et al. 2022: bogerti, donveae, otjihipa, praedicta, pundomontana, vazpintorum, and wulfhaackei. This is a subgroup of the transvaalica group, which also includes transvaalica, loveridgei, and gorongosa. Morphological characters for the bogerti group are summarized in Conradie et al. 2022: 442 (Table 5).
