Diagnosis 
CommentSubspecies: Agama paragama sylvanus MACDONALD 1981 is sometimes considered as a full species but considered as a synonym of A. agama here.

Distribution: Reports from Gabon represent actually A. lebretoni (Pauwels et al. 2016).
