Comment | Status: This species is a possible synonym of A. bifrontata. The characters thought to be unique to diagnose this species (such as a red snout, see García-Pérez 1995a) are present in different populations of A. bifrontata (GU, unpubl. data, cited in RIVAS et al. 2012). Abundance: only known from its original description (Meiri et al. 2017). Diet: a large percentage of the diet of this species (10-30%) consists of ants (Lucas et al. 2023). |
