Abundance: Rare. This is one of the species called 'lost' and 'rediscovered' by Lindken et al. 2024. 
EtymologyThe name tasymicris is an anagram of Myristica, the genus of the nutmeg, a tree contributing significantly to the horticultural forests of Grenada.
