Type locality: "St. Thomas and Santa Cruz"; restricted by Gans and Alexander, 1962, to St. Thomas, US. Virgin Islands.

EtymologyApparently named after Latin fenestra = window, fenestrata = windowed, after the eye that’s visible beneath the ocular shield, like through a window.
