Type locality: Turumiquire mountains, Estado Sucre, Venezuela, elevation 1600 m.

DiagnosisDiagnosis: Allied to Anadia bitaeniata in character of head shields, but distinguished by the lower number of scales around the body and of transverse rows of dorsals; four supraoculars; twenty-eight scales around the body; thirty-three to thirty-four from the occipitals to the second postanal row [from SCHMIDT 1932].
