Diagnosis | Diagnosis: A large, very slender, strongly beaked blind-snake with 20 midbody scale rows and nasal cleft usually proceeding from second labial. Further distinguishable from R. bituberculatus by more numerous ventrals (more than 500 v. fewer than 500) and snout not strongly trilobed.
