Type locality: Leopold Downs, 17° 52’ S, 125° 26’ E, Western Australia.

TypesHolotype: WAM R1341 
DiagnosisDiagnosis: A slender, short-snouted blind-snake with very small eyes, 18 midbody scale rows and nasal cleft proceeding from second labial and completely dividing nasal scale. Further distinguishable from guentheri and grypus by non-black tail and less numerous ventrals (fewer than 500 v. more than 500).
