Etymology | Named after Greek dolikhós = long, far, and Greek kephale = head. A. d. portusalus was presumably named after the type locality, Port-Salut. A. d. sarmenticola was named after the habitat, from Latin sarmentum = twig, branch, brush, and -cola. |
