TypesType: BMNH 1946.8.13.31 (and possibly additional specimens). 
Diagnosis 
CommentDistribution: Not listed for Ecuador by TORRES-CARVAJAL 2001.

Species groups: Dactyloa punctata species group (fide NICHOLSON et al. 2012). 
EtymologyNamed after Greek eu (εὖ), well; showing the quality in a high degree + Greek laimos (λαιμός), the throat, gullet. [“...Gular appendage very large, extending posteriorly beyond the thorax...”]. (from Esteban Lavilla, pers. comm., May 2024)
