DistributionHispaniola (SW Dominican Republic)

strahmi: immediate vicinity of type-bocaiity. Type locality: “3 km NE of El Aguacate, Independencia Province, 854 m elevation, República Dominicana”.

abditus: southern low foothilîs of Sierra de Baoruco. Type locality: “dirt road to Las Mercedes, 2.9 km from intersection (= 5 km SE, 2.9 km N of Pedernales), Pedernales Province, República Dominicana”.

Comment 
EtymologyNamed after Michael H. Strahm, a herpetologist. He was originally Schwartz's pupil and became his friend.
