Anolis paternus paternus: Isla de la Juventud. Type locality: Vicinity of Nueva Gerona, Isla de la Juventud, Cuba.
pinarensis: western Cuba. Tera typica: 5 km from Ciudad Sandino, Guane, Pinar del Río province, Cuba.
