Diagnosis 
CommentAbundance: only known from the types (Meiri et al. 2017) and possibly a few other specimens (e.g. at MCZ) of unclear status (Poe et al. 2017, L. Mahler, pers. comm., 22 July 2019). 
EtymologyNamed after Greek damalos (δάμαλος), calf; member of a deer kind. [“...Above metallic light reddish brown...”].
