DiagnosisDiagnosis: An anole very closely related to Anolis crassulus Cope, from which it is readily distinguished by its smaller dorsal scales. (Stuart 1942)

CommentNorops haguei has been previously considered as a synonym or subspecies of N. crassulus.

EtymologyNamed after Henry Hague, manager of the San Geronimo Estate near Vera Paz and collector in Guatemala.
