CommentA. darlingtoni Cochran 1939 is preoccupied by Xiphocercus (= Anolis) darlingtoni COCHRAN 1935. However, as NICHOLSON et al. 2012 place the two species in different genera, the homonymy is resolved and, if this change were accepted, under the Code (Art. 59.4) the correct names become Deiroptyx darlingtoni (Cochran, 1935) and Chamaelinorops darlingtoni (Cochran, 1939).
