Diagnosis | DESCRIPTION: Size moderate (SVL in males to 57 mm, in females to 45 mm); 5--6 rows of loreals; scales between supraorbitals 0; 4 scales between interparietal and supraorbital semicircles; 5 postrostrals; 6 postmentals; suboculars in contact with supralabials; tail crest high, as high as diameter of tail and extending about 1/2 tail length; dorsals smooth to unicarinate; ventrals smooth; supradigital scales multi-carinate. Dorsum uniformly deep brownish gray, becoming lighter on venter; dewlap uniformly yellow-orange (Schwartz & Henderson 1991: 251). |
