Diagnosis 
CommentSynonymy: BOULENGER 1885 listed Anolis fraseri as synonym of A. copii which is now considered as a synonym of Norops biporcatus.

Species group: Dactyloa latifrons species group (NICHOLSON et al. 2012). 
EtymologyNamed after Louis Fraser (1810-1866), a zoologist, collector, curator, explorer, zookeeper, consul, author, dealer, and taxidermist. He was employed at the museum ofthe Zoological Society, London (1832-1841 and 1842-1846), and collected in the Americas and Africa.
